Lead Administrator (SCCM)
. Experience in design, installation and configuration and administration of Microsoft System Configuration Manager
. Should have strong knowledge on SCCM CAS /Primary Site Infrastructure Management.
. Maintaining management point and distribution point Servers and Support peer-to-peer data distribution.
. Maintain MSSQL server replication, backup jobs, rebuild index.
. Monitor load balance and performance tuning and Client Connect Performance management
. Utilize monitoring tools and dashboards for purposes of identifying and remediating issues
. Analysis of problems with the existing infrastructure and work with the vendor support for RCA and resolutions.
. Reports of Key Performance Indicators for the Infrastructure.
. Updating services, Management point, and Fallback status point.
. Deploying Fixes and Maintaining the Infrastructure as per Customer Standards - To build custom reporting for management.
. Knowledge in Patch management, OS deployment, Software applications and
Packaging deployment and troubleshooting
. Expert in WSUS/SUP solution for Microsoft Security Patch Compliance.
. SOP creation to enhance efficiency across the team on SCCM related activities.
. Knowledge in SDK to write application programs.
· Knowledge in PowerShell scripting.
. Knowledge in customized report creation using SQL reporting services
. Maintain Applications dev, UAT and PROD infrastructure.
. Knowledge on Adaptiva will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 3 support for SCCM-related issues: software distribution, OS deployment, patch management, and endpoint compliance.
Design, implement, and maintain SCCM infrastructure: site servers, distribution points,reporting services.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex client/server issues.
Create and manage task sequences for OS deployment and application packaging.
Develop custom reports using SQL and SSRS.
Integrate third-party patching tools like Patch My PC.
Automate tasks using PowerShell and scripting tools.
Collaborate with security teams for vulnerability remediation and compliance.
Mentor L1/L2 support teams and document troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in SCCM administration.
Strong expertise in:
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
PowerShell scripting
Windows OS deployment (WIM, MDT, PXE boot)
Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, Intune
SQL Server and SSRS
Experience with application packaging and virtualization tools (e.g., Admin Studio, App-V).
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
