Job Summary
The Incident Automation & Self‑Healing Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and recommending automation and self‑healing opportunities to improve incident response efficiency and reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR). This role focuses on data‑driven analysis of incident patterns and workflows, working in partnership with automation engineering teams to enable scalable and compliant automation solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze incident trends, recurring patterns, and root causes to identify candidates for self‑healing and automated remediation.
- Identify and document workflow automation opportunities to reduce manual operational effort and improve MTTR.
- Perform incident categorization and frequency analysis to prioritize high‑value automation use cases.
- Develop data‑backed recommendations and business justification for automation initiatives and present findings to program leadership.
- Define functional and technical requirements for automation use cases and collaborate closely with automation engineering teams responsible for development and implementation.
- Validate proposed automation opportunities against operational risk, impact, and feasibility considerations.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of implemented automation (incident reduction, MTTR improvement, manual effort savings).
- Ensure all automation recommendations align with enterprise standards, operational controls, and governance requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for identified automation opportunities, assumptions, and expected outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in incident management, operational analytics, or service reliability functions.
- Proven ability to analyze large incident data sets and translate insights into actionable automation opportunities.
- Familiarity with automation and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Ansible, runbooks, workflow engines).
- Ability to define automation requirements; hands‑on playbook development is a plus but not mandatory.
- Good understanding of ITSM processes and operational workflows.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams in large enterprise environments.
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
