Job Description
Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance Java-based applications and enterprise solutions. This role involves defining architecture standards, guiding development teams, and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Develop and maintain scalable software architectures for enterprise applications.
- Define technology stack, integration patterns, and system design principles.
- Implement microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions.
- Development Leadership: Guide teams in building applications using Core Java, Java-J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Modernization: Lead Java Legacy Application Modernization, including refactoring, re-engineering, and migration strategies.
- Database & Integration: Optimize PL-SQL queries for large-scale data transformations.
- Work with relational databases and ensure efficient SQL tuning for analytical workloads.
- Automation & DevOps: Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Automate workflows using Unix/Linux scripting and enterprise schedulers.
Required Skills
- Core Java: Object-oriented programming, multithreading, exception handling.
- Cloud - JAWS/Azure/GCP Cloud migration
- Java-J2EE: JSP, Servlets, EJB, web services.
- Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
- ORM: Hibernate for database interaction.
- Microservices: Service decomposition, API gateway, inter-service communication.
- Architecting: Design patterns, scalability, performance optimization.
- DevOps: CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployment.
Experience
- Hands on experince in Java-J2EE development and architecture.
- Proven experience in designing enterprise-level applications and modernizing legacy systems.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments and automation scripting.
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
