Key Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Production Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Application Support, or related technical support roles.
- Experience working within distributed and global support teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Experience with Linux and UNIX operating systems.
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE applications and scripting technologies.
- Ability to write and analyze complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of production support processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
- Ability to analyze JVM performance, including thread dumps, heap dumps, and garbage collection logs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Hadoop and Kafka ecosystems.
- Experience working with Hazelcast or distributed caching technologies.
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and microservices environments.
- Experience supporting payment processing, transaction systems, or financial services applications.
- Experience developing monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions to improve operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for critical, highly available applications within the Value Added Services (VAS) environment.
- Monitor application availability, performance, latency, and system health to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage and support change, incident, and problem management processes in accordance with operational standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Development, Database, Infrastructure, Risk, and Client teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Participate in application deployment activities, release validations, and post-implementation support.
- Perform proactive system monitoring and create dashboards, alerts, audits, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze JVM-related issues, including thread dumps, heap dumps, garbage collection logs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support capacity planning activities and contribute to architecture and design reviews to improve system resiliency and supportability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the production support environment.
- Provide timely communication and escalation during high-priority incidents and service disruptions.
- Maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
