The Medicare Business Analyst plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the client’s business needs and the IT team’s technical solutions. This position requires direct collaboration with customers, project managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure that system enhancements and new implementations effectively meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading requirement elicitation sessions and workshops with stakeholders to capture detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements related to Medicare and healthcare projects.
- Documenting and validating business requirements, process flows, and use cases to clearly communicate the expected system functionalities and compliance aspects.
- Coordinating and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gathering feedback from business users, managing issue resolution, and securing final approval of deliverables.
- Maintaining and updating detailed documentation including change requests, exception handling criteria, and rules within the Rules Management Application (RMA) to support ongoing system accuracy and policy enforcement.
- Providing day-to-day operational support to business users and technical teams by addressing queries, analyzing issues, and recommending viable solutions aligned with business goals.
- Collaborating closely with development and testing teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and compliance mandates while managing scope changes proactively to mitigate project risks.
- Developing strong domain expertise in Medicare policy and processes to contribute insights for continuous improvement, efficiencies, and regulatory compliance within projects.

- Create detailed scope documents outlining functional and non-functional requirements, and verify that all explicit and implicit customer needs are addressed.
- Develop comprehensive workflows, diagrams, and specification documents by analyzing system capabilities and business processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, architects, technical leads, and pre-sales teams to formulate accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries and proposals.
- Communicate the operational and financial implications of proposed systems changes to enable informed decision-making by stakeholders.
- Maintain an ongoing cadence with customers to clarify requirements and gather iterative feedback, adapting solution designs to meet evolving needs.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $85,000 per year
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
