Role: Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (3 Days onsite/week)

 

Job Description: 
"The ETL Developer will work as a data specialist and will work with the development team to design, optimize, and oversee the development of the ETL process. The duties will also include working with LOB architects in finalizing ETL architecture, monitoring compliance, and overseeing data conversions and migrations. The engineer will also work with application support teams to ensure design incorporates requires monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure timeliness and accuracy of reporting data.
To succeed in this role, you should know how to examine new data system requirements and implement migration projects. The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in data analysis and management, building large scale data marts for high volume and near real time reporting and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.


 This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the job include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations, and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery.
 
Responsibilities:
Core IBM DataStage ETL (Extract Transform Load) development for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL-related activities.
Communicate with the Business Users and Solution Architects, for converting the ETL design into specific development activities
 • Design, implement, and/or operate comprehensive process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction 
 • Create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow 
 • Troubleshoot ETL processes failures or warnings and provide technical support for all ETL related issues as well as Warehouse reports and analysis tools 
 • Provide technical expertise  knowledge of ETL solutions for data integration projects and other developers
 • Prepare deployment packages, e.g. deployment documentation, DSX/ID exports
Enables team(s)/applications with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities and engages with other technical stakeholders pertaining to efficient functioning of CI-CD pipeline
Guides and influences team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance –e.g. pairing, code reviews
Provides end-to-end delivery of complex features, including automation, for either a single team or multiple teams, at the program level
Conducts research, design prototyping and other exploration activities such as evaluating new toolsets and components for release management, CI/CD, and features
Works with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and with architects for technical requirements
Experience working with SAP packs, high data volume and skills to do performance tuning in Datastage/Informatica is highly desired.

 
Mandatory Skills: Oracle SQL .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
