SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela, Versa, Silver Peak, or equivalent) , Cisco Wireless

Location- Kochi is our preferred location; however, if there are challenges in sourcing a suitable candidate there, we can consider other locations.

Primary Skills

  • SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela, Versa, Silver Peak, or equivalent)
  • Cisco Wireless
  • Circuits.
  • Cisco Routing & Switching

Secondary Skills

  • Firewall Technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.)
  • Network Monitoring & Performance Tools

 

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Assessment

  • Lead infrastructure discovery activities across SD-WAN, Wireless, Routing & Switching, and Firewall environments.
  • Perform inventory validation, topology mapping, dependency analysis, and documentation.
  • Analyse existing network architecture and identify risks, gaps, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Utilize automation tools, scripts, and monitoring platforms to baseline the environment.

Transition Activities

  • Support knowledge transfer (KT), shadow support, reverse shadowing, and transition execution.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, operational runbooks, and support documentation.
  • Participate in transition planning, readiness reviews, and governance meetings.
  • Drive successful handover of operations from incumbent teams.

BAU Operations

  • Provide L2/L3 support for SD-WAN, Wireless, Routing & Switching, and Firewall environments.
  • Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and drive root cause analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA, KPI, and operational standards.
