We are looking for a passionate HR professional with minimum 5-6 years of experience in HR business partnering role. The role involves partnering with business stakeholders through targeted HR interventions, people practices, talent strategies and further drive end-to-end execution of central HR processes in the span. The role holder is expected to be self-driven, display learning agility, result oriented, people centric and passionate about making business impact.

The role applicant needs to manage multiple stakeholder relationships, diverse workforce and play a talent advocate through the career lifecycle. The incumbent must understand the key business challenges and thereby formulate and deliver relevant HR intervention that enhances employee experience and retention. This is a high visibility role and has many avenues for learning and sharpening the functional expertise.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Employee Engagement - Conduct regular employee connects and one on one discussions, Drive Top Talent Connects and Leadership Connects for the Account, Conduct Skip Level Meetings
  • Career Management - Enable career movements for employees in the account and create awareness of career paths
  • Drive execution of talent management processes in the account and anchor central HR processes as a SPOC
  • Partner with account heads and business to support business strategy and provide HR support for business aligned projects
  • Provide guidance in terms of employment laws for the Geo/country, handle breaches of employment law
  • Run Central HR processes for employees - Execute regular HR processes for employees such as MSI, Performance appraisal etc. onboarding of new employees
  • Drive specific HR interventions for employees - Drive specific HR interventions at the Account or anchor interventions as a SPOC
  • Support requisite teams in integration / acquisitions.

Purpose and Impact

The primary objective of the Account HRBP is to function as a strategic advisor to the business, working alongside account leadership to identify workforce needs, shape talent management initiatives, and enable a culture that promotes high performance and continuous improvement. This role involves end-to-end execution of HR programs while ensuring seamless alignment with central HR frameworks and policies.

This position provides a unique opportunity to influence employee experience and support sustainable business success through proactive workforce planning, engagement strategies, and compliance management. The HRBP is instrumental in strengthening leadership capabilities, orchestrating career development paths, and fostering inclusivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Engagement: Facilitate continuous engagement by organizing regular one-on-one connects, skip-level meetings, and leadership discussions. Champion initiatives to onboard new employees effectively, including lateral hires, campus recruits, and internal transfers, enhancing retention and satisfaction within the account.
  • Career Development: Design and promote clear career paths, enabling employees to navigate their professional growth. Collaborate with the talent management team to identify and nurture high-potential employees, ensuring alignment of career aspirations with organizational goals.
  • Attrition Management: Proactively engage with employees to identify potential concerns, leading retention efforts and conducting structured exit processes. Work closely with managers to address retention challenges and support a smooth offboarding experience.
  • Talent Management: Own the execution of talent review processes, performance appraisals, learning and development initiatives, and succession planning within the account. Act as a central point of contact (SPOC) for all talent-related interventions and ensure compliance with HR policies and timelines.
  • HR Interventions and Inclusion: Drive targeted HR programs such as inclusivity and diversity initiatives, work-life balance campaigns, and wellness programs aligned with corporate social responsibility objectives.
  • Business Strategy Support: Collaborate with account leadership to provide strategic HR support for business transformations, organizational restructuring, and change management processes, including managing rebadging and reverse rebadging efforts.
  • Compliance and Escalation Resolution: Address employee relations concerns, handle escalations related to compliance, policy violations or grievances effectively, ensuring timely resolution and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Performance and Cost Optimization: Monitor and manage bench resources, initiate and track performance improvement plans (PIPs), and take necessary actions to manage non-performance cases promptly to maintain team productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A full-time postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline from a reputed and recognized institution, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role, preferably within the BPS or IT services sector, working closely with business leaders to influence HR strategy effectively.
  • Exceptional business partnering skills with the ability to build credible relationships and influence decision-making at senior management levels.
  • Strong analytical capability, with keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset ensuring follow-through on key initiatives and issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for relationship building and collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable ability to navigate ambiguity and operate efficiently in fast-paced, dynamic environments while maintaining a customer-oriented approach.
  • High levels of interpersonal sensitivity, resilience, and a proven team player attitude, contributing positively to a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
