Solution Architect – ECM

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain solution architecture for ECM integrations across enterprise applications.
  • Design high-level architecture diagrams, frameworks, and technical standards for ECM and related applications.
  • Design and oversee implementation of SER Doxis and Documentum workflows, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to translate business needs into technical architecture.
  • Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for ECM and application solutions.
  • Conduct technical reviews, performance optimization, and risk assessments for ECM projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams on Java, Groovy, and ECM frameworks.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance in all architectural designs.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory standards in all solution designs.
  • Implement High Availability (HA) strategies for ECM platforms to ensure system resilience and uptime.
  • Develop migration and upgrade strategies and lead execution for ECM systems, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth transitions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve architecture and delivery.
  • Drive integration strategies for RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services across enterprise systems.
  • Support capacity planning, disaster recovery, and performance tuning for ECM platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with strong proficiency in Java and Groovy.
  • Proven experience in SER DOXIS WebCube and Documentum architecture and customization.
  • In-depth understanding of ECM concepts: document lifecycle, metadata, retention policies, archiving, and compliance.
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, web services, and integration patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
  • Experience in High Availability implementation and upgrade strategies for ECM platforms.
  • Ability to lead technical teams, conduct architectural reviews, and ensure adherence to design principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
