Job Description

Role Summary:

The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile delivery practices, enabling high-performing teams, removing impediments, and ensuring Scrum principles are effectively implemented across the organization. The role acts as a servant leader to the Scrum Team and collaborates closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership to drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Facilitation
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including:
  • Daily Stand-ups
  • Sprint Planning
  • Sprint Reviews
  • Sprint Retrospectives
  • Backlog Refinement sessions
  • Ensure Scrum events are time-boxed, productive, and outcome-oriented.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog.
  • Coordinate dependencies across teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide delivery visibility through Agile metrics and reporting.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
  • SAFe Agilist

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of:
  • Scrum
  • Kanban
  • Agile methodologies
  • Lean principles
  • Experience with Agile tools such as:
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Knowledge of SDLC, release management, and dependency management.
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

Mandatory Skills: Agile Scrum Methodology .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
