Job Description: 

About the Role:

 

This  role demands an expert professional to lead and optimize our network infrastructure and security frameworks, supporting a dynamic and evolving digital environment. You will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and maintaining robust network systems that underpin mission-critical business applications and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the administration and configuration of core networking hardware, including Cisco NX-OS and IOS-XE switches, alongside Dell SonicOS platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage and secure cutting-edge firewall systems such as FortinetJuniper, and Cisco, applying best practices to safeguard network integrity.
  • Drive and contribute to complex network infrastructure projects, particularly in migration initiatives involving seamless transition of network and application flows within firewalled environments.
  • Exhibit comprehensive expertise in networking protocols, with command over TCP/IPEthernet protocols, and advanced routing protocols like IGP and BGP, to ensure resilient IP-based network architectures.
  • Apply deep knowledge to design, implement, and troubleshoot scalable routing and switching infrastructures tailored to organizational needs.
  • Utilize scripting skills, primarily in Python, to automate routine network tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to established standards and policies to uphold system integrity and audit readiness.

 

Technical Skills Needed:

 

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing and Switching hardware and software platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency with firewall configuration and management across multiple vendor technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with network migration strategies and UAT processes in complex environments.
  • Ability to leverage scripting (Python preferred) for network administration and problem-solving.
Mandatory Skills: Cisco Routing and Switching .
