Role : Web Technologies Architect

 

Experience

10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years designing and engineering enterprise-scale web platforms

 

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Web Technologies Architect to lead the architecture, engineering, modernization, and technical governance of large-scale digital web applications. The architect will provide deep hands-on expertise in Next.js, React 18, TypeScript, Micro-Frontends and Webpack Module Federation, while designing scalable integration with GraphQL, APIs, identity, CMS, analytics, observability, and cloud services. These technologies align directly with the supplied platform stack

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Web Architecture & Engineering

  • Define scalable architecture for enterprise web applications using Next.js, React 18 and TypeScript
  • Design and govern Micro-Frontend architecture using Webpack Module Federation, including shell/host and independently deployable MFE patterns
  • Drive application modernization and reduction of frontend technical debt.
  • Ensure architecture supports scalability, maintainability, performance and independent team delivery.

 

2. Hands-on Engineering

  • Actively develop complex React/Next.js/TypeScript components and reference implementations.
  • Build/reference Micro-Frontend integration patterns.
  • Perform detailed code and design reviews.
  • Lead technical spikes and Proofs of Concept.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, browser, integration and production issues.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

 

3. API & Integration Architecture

  • Design frontend integration using GraphQL, Apollo Client and services-gql backend services.
  • Collaborate with backend engineering teams working with Java/Spring Boot, Node.js and .NET microservices.

Must-have Competencies

 

  • Deep hands-on expertise in React, Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Proven architecture experience with Micro-Frontends and Webpack Module Federation.
  • Strong experience designing large-scale, high-traffic enterprise web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL/Apollo and REST-based API integration.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0/OIDC.
  • Strong frontend security and secure-coding experience.

Mandatory Skills: Java-J2EE .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
