Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BAU (Business As Usual) Lead to support our Azure Virtual Desktops and Windows 365 environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and optimizing virtual desktop infrastructures, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional user experiences

Key Responsibilities
- Manage BAU Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Azure Virtual Desktops and Windows 365 environments, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for virtual desktop issues, resolving problems promptly and efficiently.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of virtual desktop environments to meet user requirements and improve overall efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and support procedures. Generate regular reports on system performance and issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and operation of virtual desktop environments.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures to protect virtual desktop environments from threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of virtual desktop operations.
Technical Leadership
- Provide expert guidance on the implementation and configuration of AVD and Windows 365 environments.
- Ensure the optimal performance, security, and scalability of virtual desktop infrastructure and cloud solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to AVD and Windows 365.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Manage team workload and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
- Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing virtual desktop environments, with a focus on Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure Virtual Desktops, Windows 365, and related technologies. Strong understanding of virtual networking, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
