Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle DBA (Level 3) to support mission-critical SAP applications running on Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c, BR*Tools, SAP database performance tuning, and HA/DR strategies. You will work closely with SAP Basis and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of SAP systems.

· Administer, support, and tune Oracle databases used by SAP ECC 6.0 / S/4HANA systems. · Perform SAP-specific DBA tasks including BR*Tools usage, SAP kernel upgrades, and implementing SAP Notes. · Conduct backup and recovery using RMAN and BRBACKUP/BRARCHIVE strategies. · Monitor and tune performance using AWR, ASH, ST04, SAP DBA Cockpit, and Oracle tuning tools. · Manage Oracle RAC / ASM / Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery. · Participate in SAP system copies, database refreshes (homogeneous/heterogeneous). · Collaborate with SAP Basis team to troubleshoot DB-related application issues. · Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations (on-prem and cloud – AWS, Azure, OCI). · Automate database health checks, alerts, and monitoring scripts. · Ensure compliance with audit/security standards (SOX, GDPR, etc.). · Provide L3 support, incident resolution, and RCA documentation for critical issues.

Skills and Certifications · Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – 19c/23ai · SAP HANA Introduction Certification (optional but a plus) · Experience with AWS / Azure / OCI cloud platforms · Knowledge of GoldenGate, Oracle Streams (optional)
