ob Title: ServiceNow ITAM Developer
- At least 7-12 years of experience in ITAM Consulting, High Level Design and developing technical solutions using ServiceNow platform
- At least 5+ years of experience in Design, development and implementation of Service Now Software & IT Asset Management.
- Complete end to end knowledge on the Software and Hardware Asset Management Lifecycle. Design and develop SAM and HAM requirements/enhancements.
- Understand the end-to-end Software Licensing model for ServiceNow.
- Responsible for Software Asset Management & ITAM activities.
- Works with Software asset librarians and SMEs to consolidate Software entitlement data.
- Ensure all relevant Software entitlement information (e.g. Publisher, Publisher part number, Version, Edition, Entitlement type, etc.) is available for better normalization results.
- Strong knowledge on ServiceNow modules like CMDB, Discovery and other ITSM applications.
- Monitors results of discovered software and fix any issues or anomalies identified.
- Monitor software from other sources e.g. SCCM, Flexera, etc are ingested into ServiceNow.
- Establish SaaS integrations with OOB connectors to ingest software usage information into ServiceNow.
- Establish Custom SaaS integrations where necessary to ingest software usage information into ServiceNow.
- Monitor reconciliation jobs and fix any issues or anomalies identified.
- Modify License workbench and OOB reports based on requirements or top publishers.
- Define process for reclamation of software to ensure software compliance.
- Must have integrated the ITAM with ITSM to develop an integrated solution.
- Must have a working experience on domain separated environments
- Participate in project activities including preparing project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring statuses, coordinating efforts, validating team recommendations, integrating efforts into a comprehensive strategy and delivering results on time.
- Create/Maintain ServiceNow SAM & HAM documentation/standard operating procedures documents.
- Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements, flow charts and technical diagrams.
- Must be ITIL Foundation / CSA certified.

Do
- Provide adequate support in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects in own tower (platform/dbase/ middleware/ backup)
- Lead the structural/ architectural design of a platform/ middleware/ database/ back up etc. according to various system requirements to ensure a highly scalable and extensible solution
- Conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing the current and future requirements
- Utilize and leverage the new features of all underlying technologies to ensure smooth functioning of the installed databases and applications/ platforms, as applicable
- Strategize & implement disaster recovery plans and create and implement backup and recovery plans
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the tower
- Manage day-to-day operations by troubleshooting any issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and developing fixes to avoid similar issues.
- Plan for and manage upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration functions for own tower
- Review the technical performance of own tower and deploy ways to improve efficiency, fine tune performance and reduce performance challenges
- Develop shift roster for the team to ensure no disruption in the tower
- Create and update SOPs, Data Responsibility Matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, data architecture guidance etc.
- Provide weekly status reports to the client leadership team, internal stakeholders on database activities w.r.t. progress, updates, status, and next steps
- Leverage technology to develop Service Improvement Plan (SIP) through automation and other initiatives for higher efficiency and effectiveness
