Job Description

As a Lead Administrator - L2 at Wipro Technologies-USA, you will play a critical role in managing the deployment and maintenance of Windows operating system images, specifically for Windows 10 and 11. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire image lifecycle – from the initial creation to ongoing updates. You will customize images to meet diverse technical requirements, ensuring that each deployment is reliable and efficient. Utilizing tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Microsoft Intune Autopilot, you will ensure seamless integration of necessary drivers, software, and security patches.

  • Your role also includes enhancing deployment automation processes by leveraging scripting languages such as PowerShell. You will implement advanced deployment methodologies including Zero Touch Installation and Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) OS Image deployments, ensuring that all systems are efficiently provisioned.
  • A strong command of SCCM infrastructure will be fundamental to your success. You will manage intricate task sequences, PXE Boot configurations, and the creation of offline boot media to achieve optimal deployment outcomes.
  • Additionally, your familiarity with BIOS/UEFI settings, along with a robust knowledge of endpoint management solutions, will be paramount as you guide the organization through technology updates and migrations.
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of hardware configurations across various models, as well as a strong background in hardware lifecycle management will help you maintain detail-oriented documentation regarding image builds, specifications, and deployment processes.
  • Part of your duties will also involve troubleshooting, where you will take the lead in resolving image-related issues while delivering advanced support. Collaborating with different IT teams will ensure that images are compatible and provide the best user experience possible, while also evaluating new software updates and managing a robust User Acceptance Testing process.
  • As an essential member of our team, you will harness your strong analytical skills, effective communication, and documented abilities to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment. Your prior experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and knowledge of compliance standards will further enrich our capabilities.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
