Role Overview

This Python Developer Wipro role supports the world’s largest alternative investment management company, helping design, build and operate modern, scalable applications supporting portfolio management and fund workflows. It comes with strong  backend development in Python and hands-on experience across APIs, microservices, relational databases and DevOps practices. The role offers end-to-end ownership across the application lifecycle, from solution design and development through deployment and production support, while delivering reliable, scalable and client-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement back-end software solutions using Python.
  • Actively look for opportunities to enhance and consolidate the system.
  • Document technical changes to the system.
  • Implement observability to track performance and alert about issues.
  • Enforce code quality by performing code reviews.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and use DevOps tools such as Terraform and Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to collect and refine business requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Promote and implement development best practices across the team.   

Experience & Capabilities

  • At least 6 years of demonstrable work experience as a Software Developer.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary analysis to implementation, then release.
  • Experience working with version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience working with Docker and containers is a plus.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Terraform is a plus.
  • Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and maintain existing systems.
  • Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, skills and grow competencies.

 

Mandatory Skills: FullStack Microsoft .NET Smart Web App .
