Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client’s software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA’s ensuring client satisfaction

Responsibilities & Skills Required:

•Remote Support for the Stratus platform ( GSNOW , Atlas service management )

•- Good understanding of Third Party Software packages skills / knowledge required(Rose Application, Putty )

•- VOS Operating system skills – Operating system for stratus platform

•- Stratus Macros and scripts – should be able to read /understand /edit /create /remove macros & scripts as part of Admin activities

•- Network level 1& 2 support : File operations(transfer)  using TCP-IP/SSH/Telnet) protocol

•- Performance monitoring :- Good hands on with all the Disk/CPU/process performance related activities

•- Monitor tool / chat channels for system management response : Rose application ( to monitor end to end stratus processes , disk processors , servers etc.)

•- Stratus Hardware support for V4408 - Vendor support and coordination for addressing Status H/w related issues ( e.g disk failure or other h/w issues )

•- Local knowledge of COLT application : - Basic technical knowledge about COLT needed ( Only Trading application used on Stratus Platform )  ; COLT is considered as Front end application of Stratus .
