Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to support a complex system migration project. The candidate must be hands-on, proactive, possess strong communication skills, and be able to provide ideas, suggestions, and technical guidance to both QA and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional, regression, and automation testing activities.
  • Contribute to and define the overall testing strategy.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed testing documentation, including test plans, test design, execution reports, and defect logs.
  • Provide technical recommendations throughout development cycles.
  • Work closely with developers for debugging, issue analysis, and root-cause identification.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of IT experience with a strong background in software testing.
  • Strong automation skills (Selenium, API automation, or similar).
  • Experience with Tricentis TOSCA tool is a plus.
  • Solid experience with BDD (e.g., Cucumber) and TDD.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with BA, PM, Developers, Stakeholders, and Vendor teams.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to produce structured test artefacts.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior testers when needed.

Preferred / Added Advantage

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud-based testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Basic Non-Functional Testing (NFT) knowledge (performance, security, reliability).
Mandatory Skills: Tosca Testsuite - Test Automation .
