Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Role: Lead Python Application Engineer (Priority 1)

Core Skills (Mandatory):

    Key Skills: Excellent in Python, Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, Azure / GCP, Vector Databases, Cloud Architecture, Leadership & Mentoring, CI/CD,Terraform, MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes,

•             AI, Generative AI & Agentic AI Skills:

o             Expertise in Python, hands-on experience in prompt engineering and AI-driven workflow automation.

o             Understanding of AI Agent Architectures – Knowledge of multi-agent systems, reasoning loops (e.g., ReAct, Reflexion), and goal-driven AI design.

o             Tool Integration & Orchestration – Ability to connect LLMs with external tools, APIs, and data sources for autonomous task execution.

o             Framework Proficiency – Hands-on experience with frameworks like LangChain, LangSmith, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar agent orchestration tools.

o             Memory & Context Management – Implementing short-term and long-term memory for agents to maintain context across interactions.

o             Safety & Control Mechanisms – Designing guardrails, validation layers, and human-in-the-loop controls to ensure safe, predictable agent behavior.

o             System Design & Scalability – Architecting agent systems that can scale, coordinate multiple agents, and integrate with enterprise infrastructure.

o             Evaluation & Optimization – Measuring agent performance, reasoning accuracy, and optimizing for efficiency and reliability.

o             Ability to integrate Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.

o             Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/ Google Cloud).

o             Knowledge of Terraform, containerization using Docker/Kubernetes; and CI/CD automation for scalable, secure, and maintainable deployment of AI services

o             Knowledge of NLP, semantic search, and multi-turn conversation design.

o             Exposure to multimodal AI systems

o             Knowledge of AI orchestration tools and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques.

o             AI Orchestration framework (e.g. Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Langchain, LangGraph etc.)

•             Backend & API Development

o             API development and integration with enterprise systems.

o             Advanced proficiency in Python, multithreading

o             Good knowledge of FastAPI

o             Secure API development using OAuth2, API Gateway, IAM, RBAC

o             Expertise in REST, JSON, and event-driven design.

o             Familiarity with GraphQL and asynchronous messaging.

•             Cloud & DevOps

o             Hands-on experience with Azure (and Google Cloud).

o             Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.

Skills (Good to have):

•             Streaming & Messaging

o             Working knowledge of Redis, Apache Kafka or similar platforms would be an added advantage
Mandatory Skills: Python Application Programming .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
