Must Have: Minimum 5 Years experience in SAP MDG Functional

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Functional Consultant with 7–10 years of SAP experience, including significant hands-on expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting MDG solutions for governing enterprise master data across domains such as Business Partner, Customer, Vendor/Supplier, Material, Finance, Cost Center, and Profit Center. The role requires strong functional knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and experience in global implementation and support projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for master data governance initiatives.
  • Configure and support SAP MDG solutions across Material, Customer, Vendor, Business Partner, and Financial master data domains.

Design and maintain:

  • Data Models
  • Process Models
  • UI Models
  • Change Request Types
  • Rule-Based Workflows
  • Data Replication Frameworks (DRF)
  • Collaborate with business users, data stewards, and technical teams to implement governance processes.
  • Define and manage validation and derivation rules using BRF+.
  • Support data quality, data governance, and master data lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Participate in fit-gap workshops, solution design, testing, UAT, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
  • Work closely with SAP S/4HANA programs, migration projects, and global rollouts.=
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements in MDG processes.
  • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.

Mandatory Skills

7–10 years of SAP experience with 4+ years in SAP MDG Functional Consulting

Strong experience in:

  • SAP MDG Configuration
  • Data Modeling
  • Process Modeling
  • UI Modeling
  • Workflow Configuration
  • Change Request Management
  • Data Replication Framework (DRF)

Experience with at least one or more domains:

  • Material Master (MM)
  • Customer Master
  • Supplier/Vendor Master
  • Business Partner
  • Finance Master Data
Mandatory Skills: SAP Master Data Governance - MDG .
