Job Description
We are looking for an experienced **Lead L3 Support Engineer** to join our support organization. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in **L3 production support**, **ServiceNow-based ITSM processes**, **Change Management**, and **ITIL practices**. The role requires deep expertise in **monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace**, along with solid knowledge of **RESTful APIs, Core Java, and Unix commands**. Experience supporting **Java / Spring Boot applications in the Banking domain** is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate strong ownership, leadership, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**ServiceNow Management:**
Lead and manage **Incident, Problem, and Change Management** processes using ServiceNow; act as the final escalation point for critical production issues.
**Change Management:**
Plan, review, and govern change activities to ensure minimal disruption to business-critical services.
**ITIL Management:**
Apply ITIL best practices to improve service stability, availability, and overall service delivery.
**Monitoring Tools:**
Utilize **Dynatrace and Splunk** for proactive monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, dashboard creation, and alert optimization.
**Unix Commands:**
Perform hands-on troubleshooting using **Unix/Linux commands** for application and system-level issues.
**Java / Spring Boot Knowledge (Good to Have):**
Support and troubleshoot **Java and Spring Boot–based RESTful services** in production environments.
**Must Have:**
* 3+ years of experience in **RESTful API development and/or production support**
* Strong experience in **L3 production troubleshooting**, including shift and on-call support
* Hands-on experience with **ServiceNow** (Incident, Change, and Problem Management)
* Strong exposure to **development tools and frameworks**
* **Dynatrace** experience for monitoring, dashboard creation, and maintenance
* **Splunk** query creation, maintenance, and optimization
* Strong knowledge of **Core Java**
* Experience working in the **Banking domain**
* Understanding of **Azure fundamentals**
* Strong **ownership mindset** with the ability to take responsibility for incidents and drive resolution
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
