Role Purpose and Overview

As a specialist in Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) at Wipro Technologies, your primary responsibility will be to guide and enhance the production delivery process by leading and mentoring the Production Specialists team. You will ensure seamless daily performance, rapidly address and resolve technical escalations, and foster the development of technical expertise among team members.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing robust ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), cooperating closely with cross-functional teams to support data analytics and AI initiatives within the Decision Sciences practice. You will be instrumental in upholding data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout complex data pipelines, ensuring all solutions align with business intelligence objectives.

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex ETL workflows and SSIS packages to facilitate efficient data ingestion and transformation from diverse and multiple source systems.
• Architect and implement comprehensive error handling, logging, and auditing mechanisms within SSIS packages to ensure high reliability and ease of troubleshooting in production environments.
• Collaborate closely with data architects, BI developers, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet evolving analytics and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance to maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across complex data stores and warehouses.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and knowledge sharing to nurture the skills of Production Specialists, enhancing team capability and responsiveness to technical challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of ETL processes, technical designs, and best practices, promoting transparency and continuity within the team and broader organization.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) with proven experience in designing, developing, and supporting complex ETL packages.
• Strong knowledge of related MSBI components including SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Power BI to facilitate end-to-end business intelligence solutions.
• Experience with TSQL and data warehousing concepts, enabling efficient manipulation and management of large datasets.
• Ability to implement data quality and error handling techniques within ETL pipelines to ensure robust system performance.
• Knowledge of best practices in data integration, transformation techniques, and automation frameworks.
• Experience working in agile environments and using version control systems for development workflows.
