Role Purpose

Batch support for Mainframe  Scheduling tools (like CA7, Autosys etc..)

 Mainframe batch processing

 Utilizing CA7 batch scheduler  

 Distributed batch processingUsing Autosys batch scheduler and WCC interface

Autosys tool experience

24x7 operations for command centre role. – Shift based

·         Detect and escalate interruptions to batch schedule.

·         Identify actual and potential business impact of batch delays and / or failures.

·         Interact with application support teams to execute batch recovery activities.

·         Modify current batch schedule in support of scheduled maintenance activities.

Responsibility Summary :            

This role provides quality solutions by supporting a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the support of data center batch processing.  Assignments includes monitoring daily batch cycles in both mainframe and distributed environments, escalating batch failures or delays and executing recovery actions to ensure timely and successful batch execution.

 

 

Qualifications Required in the Job:

•             Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred or  

equivalent related work experience.

•             Minimum of 2 years of data center batch processing experience.

·               Over all  3-4 Years experience

•             Experience with Large-scale data processing via automated scheduling tools
Mandatory Skills: Mainframe Monitoring .

 

Experience: 1-3 Years .
