Manager, Process Excellence
Wipro Consulting
Role Summary
The Manager, Process Excellence will support the Chief of Staff for Wipro Consulting by driving process improvement, operational rigor, and execution discipline across the Consulting organization. This role focuses on identifying gaps in how work gets done today, designing better ways of working, and ensuring those processes are adopted, governed, and sustained.
In addition to process excellence, the role will lead special projects sponsored by Consulting leadership and support internal / central budget management, acting as a connector across HR Ops, Finance, and Consulting leadership to ensure clarity, accountability, and follow through.
This is a highly visible role suited for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, improving systems at scale, and helping a large organization operate more effectively

Key Responsibilities
1. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
•    Identify, assess, and prioritize process improvement opportunities across Wipro Consulting (e.g., governance forums, planning cycles, intake processes, execution tracking).
•    Design and implement standardized, scalable ways of working that improve clarity, speed, and consistency across markets and teams.
•    Document processes, decision rights, and handoffs to reduce ambiguity and dependency on informal knowledge.
•    Partner with stakeholders to embed process changes into day to day operations rather than treating them as one off fixes.
•    Track adoption and effectiveness of new processes and recommend refinements as needed.
 
2. Special Projects & Priority Initiatives
•    Lead and support special projects sponsored by the Chief of Staff and Consulting leadership.
•    Take ambiguous initiatives and convert them into: 
o    Clear scope and objectives
o    Defined milestones and owners
o    Risks, dependencies, and escalation paths
•    Drive execution through disciplined tracking, regular check ins, and timely issue resolution.
•    Prepare concise, executive ready updates and recommendations to support leadership decisions.
 
3. Internal / Central Budget & Investment Management
•    Support management of internal Consulting budgets, including central initiatives and enablement investments.
•    Track budget requests, approvals, spend, and outcomes against defined objectives.
•    Help design and operate a structured intake and review process for internal funding requests.
•    Partner with Finance and stakeholders to improve transparency, discipline, and alignment of internal spend with Consulting priorities.
 
4. Governance, Cadence & Reporting
•    Support the operating cadence of the Office of the Chief of Staff, including: 
o    Meeting preparation and agenda structuring
o    Action tracking and closure
o    Decision logs and follow ups
•    Build and maintain simple tracking and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies.
•    Synthesize complex inputs into clear, actionable summaries for leadership consumption.

•    Consulting operates with clearer, more consistent processes and fewer ad hoc workarounds.
•    HR Ops interactions are more predictable, with reduced friction and escalations.
•    Special projects move from idea to execution with structure and accountability.

•    Leadership experiences improved execution, visibility, and follow through across priorities.
 
Ideal Candidate Profile
•    Experience in operations, process excellence, strategy, consulting, transformation, or program management roles.
•    Demonstrated ability to design and implement process improvements in complex, matrixed organizations.
•    Comfortable working across HR, Finance, and Operations teams.
•    Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
•    Clear, concise communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
•    High judgment, discretion, and comfort operating in a leadership environment.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000.00  to $158,000.00.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
