Purpose:

Be a hands-on engineering leader who designs, builds, and operates secure, automated cloud platform capabilities that enable product teams to deliver API-first services at pace and with confidence. Balance deep technical work with coaching others to raise the bar on reliability, security, and simplicity. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate platform capabilities using Infrastructure-as-Code and modern CI/CD.

• Embed secure-by-design principles from architecture to runtime.

• Define and operate against SLOs/SLIs; implement observability, performance tuning, and automation.

• Enable API-first delivery with reusable patterns and golden paths. 

• Mentor engineers and contribute to communities of practice. Core Skills

• Proven experience delivering large-scale, fault-tolerant systems; setting SLOs/SLIs.

• Terraform and modern CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, Spinnaker).

• Containers & orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh (e.g., Istio). 

• API design & security (REST/OpenAPI, mTLS, authN/Z).

• Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Cloud Expertise (Depth in One, Ready to Cross-Train) Azure: ARM/Bicep, AKS, Application Gateway, API Management, Azure Storage GCP: GKE, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, Istio, Stackdriver, Jenkins, Apigee Desirable

• Harness, HashiCorp Vault, Dynatrace, Docker/buildah, NodeJS for API tooling.

• Relevant Azure or GCP certifications.

Mandatory Skills: FullStack Microsoft-Cloud Azure .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $110,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
