Job Description: 

Mechanical Test Engineer - FTE

Job Title: Test Engineer
Location : Warren or Pontiac in Michigan

Job responsibilities:
Characterizing the test equipment based on the type of tests
Running the actual tests – collecting the data, analyzing the data & generating test reports for further consumption
Testing in the following areas:
Mechanical Vibration
Mechanical Shock
Water ingress
Thermal – loading & shock
Should know how to use load boxes to set-up tests, run test scripts & collect data
Test engineers should be experienced in testing process & standards (eg. GMW3172) and be able to handle the testing independently with no learning curve 
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
 
Qualification & Requirement:
BE Mechanical/Automotive Engineer with 5 to 8 Yrs of engineering testing experience at testing facility in the US 
Mandatory Skills: CADTools .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
