Job Description: 

͏Ab Initio Production Support Engineer

. Administer, support, and maintain Ab Initio ETL platforms across enterprise production and non-production environments.

2. Design, develop, deploy, and support Ab Initio graphs, GDE components, Conduct>IT, EME, Metadata Hub, and ETL workflows.

3. Provide L3 production support for business-critical data integration and data processing applications with participation in 24×7 support rotations.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve ETL failures including job abends, data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, file transfer failures, and scheduling issues.Develop and support automation solutions using Shell scripting, Python, Unix/Linux utilities, Control-M, Autosys, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

5. Perform platform administration activities including installation, upgrades, patching, metadata management, environment configuration, and capacity planning.

6. Support large-scale batch and real-time data processing solutions integrating with Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, Kafka, MQ, APIs, and cloud platforms.

7. Monitor ETL execution and data flows using enterprise monitoring tools, Control-M, AppDynamics, Splunk, and operational dashboards to ensure platform reliability.

8. Implement and maintain data security, governance, and compliance controls including access management, encryption, audit requirements, and data retention policies.

9. Partner with business, application, database, infrastructure, and data engineering teams to drive data quality, operational excellence, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
