Job Description

Senior QA / eCommerce Testing

We are looking for a Senior QA professional with strong experience in B2C eCommerce environments.

  • Experience: 8+ years in Software Testing / Quality Assurance, with strong B2C eCommerce experience.
  • Shopify: Hands-on experience testing Shopify or Shopify Plus applications.
  • OMS & SAP: Experience with Order Management Systems and SAP testing (O2C, P2P).
  • End-to-End Testing: Experience validating complex commerce journeys across storefronts, OMS, ERP, APIs, mobile apps, and third-party integrations.
  • Automation: Experience creating automation scripts using tools such as Tosca or Appium.
  • QA Practices: Strong knowledge of test scenarios, test case design, test data, defect management, retesting, regression testing, cross-browser testing, and release validation.
  • Tools: Hands-on experience with Jira, test management tools, and API testing tools.
  • Communication: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, client communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Global Support: Availability to support US time zones, global stakeholders, multi-country releases, deployment windows, and production activities.
  • Experience working with Onsite, Nearshore, and Offshore teams.
  • Location / Work Model: Hybrid position in Mexico, available for candidates located in Mexico City (CDMX) or Guadalajara.

Areas of Responsibility

Requirement Gathering-Understand the functional requirements and assist in translating these into technical specifications.

Configuration and Customisation-"Assist in performing coding, configuration, and minor customisations as per defined design and development standards."

Technology Harmonisation-Support integration testing by validating interface behaviour and identifying basic issues.

Troubleshooting and optimisation-Support troubleshooting activities and help resolve basic technical issues related to performance or configuration of a specific module.

Documentation-Assist in preparing user documentation, configuration notes, and testing artefacts for a specific module.
