The purpose of this role is to analyze attack patterns, develop incident response plans, ensure audit readiness, and implement disaster recovery measures, to ensure adherence to cyber security regulatory frameworks.

Areas of responsibility
Monitoring and Incident Detection-Analyse attack trends and correlate logs across systems to identify advance threats. Enhance monitoring processes and implement improvements for faster detection, to ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.
Incident Handling and Analysis-Perform root cause analysis, create incident response plans and implement disaster recovery measures to minimize business disruption
Threat Assessment and Analytics-Undertake forensic analysis using advanced analytics tools and implement mitigation measures to align with compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance-"Liaise with cross functional teams, external vendors and auditors to ensure compliance with security frameworks.
Maintain audit documentation and ensure its accuracy while implementing processes that support audit readiness and continuous compliance."
Training and Awareness-Assist in creating and delivering cybersecurity awareness sessions, including guidance on phishing and malicious emails.

The Microsoft Purview DLP Implementation Consultant / Engineer will configure, test, deploy and support Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention build across Microsoft 365, endpoint and Microsoft 365 Copilot scenarios. Working under a solution architect or senior SME, the role focuses on practical implementation of DLP policies, sensitive information detection, Copilot-related DLP controls, policy tips, alerts, testing evidence and handover documentation. The role will work closely with customer, third-party delivery and operational management teams to reduce data leakage risk and support operational adoption. |

Implementation Consultant / Engineer level. Suitable for a hands-on practitioner who can configure, test, document and support Microsoft Purview DLP implementations under the direction of an architect, senior SME or project lead. The individual should work to agreed designs and standards, contribute practical implementation insight, identify issues early and support reliable deployment. |

Expertise Must Have |
• Hands-on experience configuring Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention policies in Microsoft 365 environments. • Working knowledge of DLP across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, endpoints and Microsoft 365 Copilot scenarios. • Understanding of DLP locations, conditions, actions, exceptions, policy tips, notifications, incident reports and alerting. • Experience supporting testing, simulation, pilot and phased rollout for security, compliance or data protection controls. • Ability to configure or support sensitive information types, sensitivity labels, classifiers and basic auto-labelling. • Experience with Enterprise Data Management (EDM), including data classification, governance, quality and lifecycle controls supporting DLP implementation. • Experience implementing DLP controls for Microsoft 365 Copilot, including protection against sensitive data prompts, oversharing risks and inappropriate Copilot access to protected content. • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and security/compliance portals. • Ability to follow solution designs, configuration standards, build guides and implementation plans. • Strong attention to detail in documenting configurations, test evidence, defects, risks and issues. • Good communication skills with architects, project managers, administrators, analysts and business users. • Ability to troubleshoot implementation issues, validate expected behaviour and escalate complex design or policy decisions. |

Expertise Nice to Have |
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Sentinel or SOC processes supporting DLP monitoring. • Experience with custom sensitive information types, named entities, exact data match or trainable classifiers. • Understanding of privacy and compliance requirements relevant to DLP, including GDPR, PCI DSS or internal data handling standards. • Experience supporting Copilot readiness, AI readiness or data security posture management with a specific focus on DLP controls for Copilot interactions. • Basic scripting or automation experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph or Purview APIs. • Experience with broader Purview capabilities, including Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, retention or eDiscovery. • Relevant Microsoft training or certifications in security, compliance, identity, information protection or Microsoft 365 administration. • Knowledge of Dutch telecoms regulations, including ACM requirements, provider obligations, privacy, security, incident reporting, net neutrality, GDPR, ePrivacy and NIS2. • Consulting or project delivery experience, including planning, deliverables and client-facing workshops. |
