Endpoint Engineering (Lead Administrator)
The person will be a member of the Client Services Team overseeing Workstation Endpoints worldwide, with a focus on Apple Devices managed by Jamf Pro system.
Key responsibilities
- Jamf Pro Administration:
Managing and configuring Jamf Pro, including policies, configurations, and workflows.
- Device Management:
Deploying, enrolling, and managing Apple devices (macOS, iOS, etc.) using Jamf Pro.
- System Health and Devices Reporting Dashboard:
Implementing dashboards representing system health and device health within the Jamf Pro environment, showing compliance on Security Updates and Cyber Agents installed status.
- Integration:
Integrating Jamf Pro with M365 suite, identity providers Entra ID, and other MS enterprise infrastructure components & applications.
- Software and Application Management:
Packaging, deploying, and updating software and applications on managed devices.
- Automation and Scripting:
Utilizing scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, AppleScript) to automate tasks and streamline workflows.
- Security and Compliance:
Implementing and enforcing security policies and configurations to maintain compliance and protect endpoint devices.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
Providing technical support to end-users and troubleshooting issues related to Apple devices and Jamf Pro.
- Documentation:
Maintaining documentation for device management processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Training and Enablement:
Providing training and support to IT support staff on best practices for using Apple devices and Jamf Pro.
- Collaboration:
Working with other IT teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient device management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of macOS and iOS operating systems.
- Proficiency in using Jamf Pro for device management.
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or AppleScript.
- Knowledge of Apple's Device Enrollment Program (DEP) and Volume Purchase Program (VPP), and Apple Business Manager.
- Familiarity with integrating Jamf Pro with other systems and security tools.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Enterprise technologies of Active Directory, Azure, M365, etc.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in an enterprise environment managing medium to large volume of devices.
- Strong work hands on experience working in Jamf Pro Engineering, functional areas of Endpoint Management, and related experience.
Experience: 5-8 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
