Desktop Technician

Role Summary:
Provide Level 2 desktop support ensuring high SLA adherence, strong user experience, and effective asset lifecycle management in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle L1/L2/L3 escalations for desktop, laptop, and Mac devices.
- Troubleshoot Windows/Mac OS, O365, VPN, and network issues.
- Support Autopilot imaging, device provisioning, and secure builds.
- Ensure SLA compliance and manage high priority/aging tickets proactively.
- Provide VIP and executive support with quick turnaround.
- Work on ticketing tools incidents, requests, and problem tickets.
- Manage SCCM / Intune / JAMF for software deployment, patching, and compliance.
- Coordinate with Field Services / Dispatch teams for onsite support.
- Manage onboarding/offboarding (asset readiness, user setup).
- Handle IT asset lifecycle management:
- Asset allocation, tracking, and recovery
- Inventory updates and reconciliation
- Asset audits and compliance
- Coordination for refresh and disposal
- Maintain accurate inventory records across systems/tools.
- Create and maintain SOPs and knowledge articles.
Technical Skills:
- Windows 10/11, macOS
- Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
- SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, JAMF
- Active Directory, Azure AD
- VPN, DNS, DHCP basics
- Endpoint security (BitLocker, Secure Boot)
Experience:
- 4–6 years in Desktop Support (enterprise environment)
Experience: 1-3 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $37,500 to $83,600 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
