Role summary
As a Client Engagement Consulting Partner in Wipro’s Consumer-Agribusiness practice, you will be the senior client leader and growth driver for strategic accounts in the agribusiness, food, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors. You will combine deep industry expertise, commercial acumen, and consulting delivery leadership to win and deliver high-impact transformation engagements across strategy, supply chain, commercial excellence, digital & data, and sustainability. You will be responsible for P&L performance across your accounts, building repeatable offerings, and growing Wipro’s footprint with C-suite stakeholders

Key responsibilities

Lead and grow strategic client relationships at the C-suite and executive levels across agribusiness, food & beverage, and CPG accounts; act as the primary trusted advisor for business transformation topics.

Own commercial outcomes: target setting, deal origination, proposal development, contracting, and revenue / margin accountability for assigned accounts and practice areas.

Drive new business: identify, qualify, and convert cross-sell and new-scope opportunities — leveraging Wipro’s global capabilities (digital, cloud, analytics, engineering, sustainability).

Lead end-to-end client engagements: define the vision, oversee delivery quality, manage client expectations, remediate risk, and certify value realization (KPIs, ROI, adoption).

Develop and productize offerings and intellectual capital for agribusiness/CPG (commercial excellence, category & channel strategy, S&OP / supply chain, digital agriculture, ESG / regenerative sourcing).

Recruit, mentor and mobilize high-performing teams (project leaders, industry SMEs, delivery managers) and build client-facing capability.

Represent Wipro externally — industry events, client forums, thought leadership, and partner ecosystems (tech & platform alliances).

Required qualifications & experience

12+ years of management consulting experience with progressive client leadership responsibilities; or equivalent senior commercial leadership within CPG / agribusiness. Prefer multiple successful engagements at partner/principal level.

Proven track record of selling and delivering complex transformation programs (strategy, supply chain, commercial / go-to-market, digital / analytics) for large food & agribusiness or CPG companies.

Deep domain knowledge of agribusiness value chains (farm to fork), commodity markets, food manufacturing, distribution and retailer / foodservice channels.

Strong executive presence and stakeholder management; experience negotiating and influencing at the Board / C-suite level.

Demonstrated capability to lead P&L, revenue forecasting, pricing and contract negotiations.

Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred; industry certifications or relevant technical credentials (supply chain, data/analytics) a plus

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $190,000.00 to $265,000.00. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options
