Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to plan, schedule and control the deployment of releases to test and analyze the impact of changes/ bugs to ensure production readiness before they are executed across the production environment by follow the standards for release management relevant to a platform/ technology.

- Identify change incidents (new enhancements/ production bugs or fixes) and record all artefacts for the request
- Coordinate with the change management board for approval of any significant/ major change request
- Updation of records and Set up release calendar with well-defined milestones to be achieved for all the releases

- Drive process integration of release management with change and configuration management through ITIL or through business quality demands for individual services
- Manage and coordinate monthly & quarterly release plans based on scope of enhancements
- Define roadmap based on used cases and oversee all builds and deployment of releases to production and non-production environments
- Coordinate with Application team, Delivery team and PMOâÃÂÃÂs and define scope of enhancement across the portfolio
- Create release management support roadmap (planning build deployment early life support closure) and call out dependencies both upstream and downstream defining high level execution plan
- Align all the key stakeholders with the change request and timely inform them wrt to the change requests (ex downtime etc)
- Research and maintain new user stories and technologies and analyze their application and relevance for release and deployment
- Manage risks, resolve issues that affect release scope, quality and schedule and control one to multiple changes in a release unit

- Collaborate with delivery team in development, testing and pre-product for all the releases before production
- Coordinate change requests backlogs pending requests and conduct reviews
- Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies and notification lists
- Ensure green zone time for code implementation/deployment after thorough testing and analysis by the development & testing team
- Periodic reporting to senior management after every release about all implemented changes providing details on those successfully implemented, rolled back or cancelled changes

Technical Change & Release Manager
Minneapolis, MN
- The Technical Change & Release Manager is responsible for governing production and pre-production releases across MMC applications, payment rails, and shared platform services. This role serves as the central coordination point between Application Teams, DevOps, QA, Production Support, Architecture, Infrastructure, Product, and Leadership to ensure changes are planned, approved, validated, deployed, and closed with minimal operational risk.
- The position owns release governance, change readiness, dependency management, release execution, and continuous improvement while driving a predictable, auditable, and scalable release operating model for MMC.
- A key expectation of this role is the use of AI-driven tools and automation to improve release quality, reduce manual effort, identify deployment risks earlier, and accelerate release decision-making.

Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
