Role- Senior Java Developer

Location- Minneapolis, MN

Experience Required 4–6 years

Job Overview

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to work on modernizing APIs for a healthcare (HCP) platform.

The role involves transforming legacy systems into consumer‑ready APIs, enabling streaming data access, and supporting a single source of truth across multiple benefit systems.

This is a hands‑on development role working with both onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance Java-based backend services Transform existing APIs into consumer-facing APIs for an API Marketplace

Support stream-based data access for healthcare provider (HCP) consumers

Build APIs that consolidate data from multiple benefit information systems

Develop Graph-based APIs (GraphQL / Graph SQL-style) as part of the new architecture

Work with Kafka or streaming technologies for real-time data processing

Collaborate with frontend teams when needed (Angular exposure is a plus)

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and production support

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

Strong hands-on experience in Java Experience with Spring / Spring Boot

Solid experience in REST API development and integration

Good understanding of backend systems and data flows

Experience with Kafka or event streaming

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Exposure to GraphQL or graph-based APIs

Basic knowledge of AngularJS

Prior experience in healthcare or HCP platforms  
Mandatory Skills: Fullstack Java Enterprise .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
