Effectively manage and administer SQL Server and MongoDB databases, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and troubleshooting performance issues as they arise.
Take charge of deploying new components in sophisticated and challenging environments, ensuring seamless integration with current systems.
Resolve service operational issues, engaging directly with customers to maintain high levels of satisfaction and service reliability.
Perform complex troubleshooting across application, infrastructure, and database systems to quickly restore service during outages.
Configure and uphold database servers while ensuring the stability and reliability of processes involved.
Proactively monitor system performance metrics and health to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
Ensure systems are resilient, sustainable, and secure to support the business’s critical operations.
Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems, showcasing your commitment and expertise in handling under-pressure situations.
Execute scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities, even during non-standard hours, to avoid disruptions in service.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
8-10 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA).
3+ years of working experience as a MongoDB Database Administrator (DBA) demonstrating significant understanding of database operations.
5 years of performance tuning and optimization (PTO) experience focusing on maximum database efficiency.
5 years of experience in managing backups, restores, and recovery models to ensure data integrity.
5 years of experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
5 years of experience working with Windows Server, including a solid understanding of Active Directory management.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaborations across teams.
Strong time-management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
