Job Description

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who can translate business requirements into data-driven solutions. This role bridges business, data and technology by working closely with stakeholders, data engineers and analytics teams to deliver scalable data and analytics applications.

Key Responsibilities

 
 

Business Analysis:

Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze and document requirements.

Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Support regulatory and compliance data quality adherence for data profiling, validation rules, controls and lineage requirements.

Lead prioritization of requirements, manage the product backlog, and coordinate release planning to ensure timely and value-driven delivery.

Proactively identify and communicate risks, and manage risk remediation.

Maintain requirement definition and roadmap in Jira and Confluence.

Drive team engagement, User Acceptance Testing and Production release.

Plan and manage production release of the planned work deliverables.

 

Collaboration & Strategy:

Work cross-functionally with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytical requirements.

Effective facilitation skills for workshops, requirement-gathering sessions and discussions.

Contribute to the strategic development of data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and data optimization.

Key Skills

Strong understanding of data structure, databases and KPIs.

Understanding of data governance and data security best practices.

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience in Data driven Generative and Agentic AI solutions.
Mandatory Skills: Business Analysis .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 77000 to CAD 120000 .
