Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing and building data models for large-scale systems. This role focuses on data architecture, data structure design, and modeling aligned with financial and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Develop data models for financial systems, journals, and accounting datasets
  • Define data standards, structures, and relationships
  • Work closely with analysts and engineers to implement models
  • Optimize models for performance and scalability
  • Support data mapping and transformation between systems

Technical Skills

  • Programming: Python (Expert knowledge)
  • Data & Query: Strong SQL
  • Data Formats: XML, JSON, Parquet, Avro, Protobuf
  • Data Modeling: Strong hands-on experience in data model design (mandatory)
  • AI Tools: Ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and model optimization

Domain Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Financial Instruments (Derivatives preferred)
  • Experience in Accounting / Journals data modeling (important)

Soft Skills

  • Strong data architecture thinking
  • Problem-solving and structured analysis approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
    • High adaptability and learning agility
Mandatory Skills: Toad Data Modeler .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 150000 .
