Job Description

Technical Lead L1 

  • Analyse ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
  • Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems.
  • Take a holistic approach to problem-solving by connecting the dots during a production event through the various technology stacks that make up the platform, to optimize mean time to recover.
  • Work with a global team spread across tech hubs in multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior resources.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in C Programming
  • Strong experience with Unix and Unix Shell Scripting
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of Splunk - SPL, creating Splunk dashboards etc.
  • Experience with Python

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in a monthly rotational weekend shift support.

 
Mandatory Skills: Java-J2EE .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
