Job Description

• Develop and execute hardware validation test plans for post-silicon bring-up.
• Conduct Silicon package-level functional testing to validate chip performance and
functionality.
• Collaborate with Software, Validation and firmware teams to identify and resolve
hardware/test issues.
• Automate test setups using Python for efficiency and repeatability.
• Execute Vmin and power characterization across PVT.
• Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting for silicon characterization.
• Perform board-level validation, including debugging signal integrity, power , and
interface issues.
• Feedback continuous improvement of the test framework , hardware setups, and
lab automation tools.

Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering.
• 3-7 years of experience in embedded systems, firmware development, or
hardware validation.
• 3+ years of professional experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining
robust test execution environments.
• Proven experience in data parsing and manipulation of large, complex test logs.
• Experience working with version control systems (e.g. git, perforce) in a
collaboration team environment.
• Expert proficiency in at least one key scripting language used in test and data
analysis (e.g. python).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-
functional teams.
• Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and low-level interfaces (SPI, I2C,
UART, GPIO, SWD).
• Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG
debuggers.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working specifically within a semiconductor, silicon validation, or
high-volume manufacturing (HVM) environment.
• Direct experience with SLT hardware, software, or methodologies.
• Understanding of Statistical Analysis methods as applied to production yield data
and quality control.
• Familiarity with high-end SLT test systems architecture.
• Knowledge of embedded software and hardware systems, Linux/Android
environments.
• Experience with defect tracking, code and project management tools (e.g. git,
JIRA).

 

 

Mandatory Skills: Silicon Validation .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $140,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
