AWS DevOps Senior Engineer

Job Description:

Experience: 5-6 years

Required Skills & Experience
1. 5-6 years of hands-on experience working as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer with primary focus on AWS.
2. Deep understanding of AWS core services: EC2, Lambda, VPC, S3, RDS, Elasticache, and MSK.
3. Experience with AWS security and compliance tools (Config, GuardDuty, Inspector, Security Hub).
4. Strong grasp of AWS networking fundamentals, load balancing, and edge security.
5. Better to have exposure to infrastructure automation (Terraform, or CloudFormation).
6. Exposure to Palo Alto next-generation firewalls and F5 WAFs.
7. Better to have exposure to scripting (Python, Bash) and CI/CD practices.
8. Experience implementing cost optimization strategies and resource auditing on AWS.
9. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Prometheus/Grafana.

 Key Responsibilities
1. Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure across multiple environments.
2. Implement and manage compute and serverless solutions using EC2 and AWS Lambda.
3. Configure and maintain VPC networking, including routing, subnets, and hybrid connectivity.
4. Deploy and tune Application Load Balancers, Network Load Balancers, and AWS Global Accelerator for high availability and low latency.
5. Enforce security controls using AWS WAF, AWS Network Firewall, and KMS encryption.
