Job Title: Manager – IT Operation Management  

Experience Required: Minimum 10 to 12 years in IT Infrastructure Projects.
 

Job Summary:

A Senior IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and management of a company's IT infrastructure and operations. This includes leading IT teams, ensuring system performance and security, managing budgets, and aligning IT with business objectives.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Overseeing IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud systems.

Define and implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools.

Understanding of servers (Windows, Linux, Unix), virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix), enterprise storage systems (NetApp, Hitachi), networking and databases.

Track project progress, performance, and resource utilization, providing regular reports to stakeholders.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.

Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of the datacenter migration project.

Identifying and mitigating potential risks to IT operations. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, migration wave plans, cutover schedules and checklists.

Collaborating with other departments to align IT strategies with business needs.

Identify, track and report on project risks, issues, dependencies and resource constraints with appropriate mitigation plans.

Conduct project review meetings, daily stand-ups and weekly status updates with internal teams and customer stakeholders.

Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Allocate resources to projects and ensure optimal utilization.
