Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools.

Title: Solar winds

Total years of experience: 6 to 10 years

Location:

  • Experience in years in SolarWinds Tools Administration & Implementation on various platforms.
  • Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Should have extensive expertise in Implementation\Project Plan Designing\High Level and Low-Level Design Documentation
  • Install, Configure, and Optimize SolarWinds Products and modules (NPM, NCM, NTA, VNQM, UDT & IPAM)
  • Hands on experience working with SolarWinds Network modules (NPM, NCM, NTA, VNQM, UDT & IPAM)
  • Experience with tuning SolarWinds to decrease noise and increase actionable alerts
  • Should have experience and knowledge in integration SolarWinds with Other 3rd party tools for Ticketing OR Event Correlation (Service-Now, BMC, Splunk etc)
  • Should have experience configuring High Availability via Both Virtual IP & Virtual hostname.
  • Knowledge in using network management protocols (SNMP, SNMP Traps, Syslog, ICMP, NetFlow etc.)
  • Good understanding of network infrastructure elements (VLAN, VPN, Routing Protocols, Network Devices, SD-WAN etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement monitoring solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to SolarWinds Implementation configuration, processes, and procedures.
  • Monitor system performance, analyse trends and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Implement best practices for security compliance and disaster recovery in SolarWinds.
  • Expertise in configuring advanced Alerting.
  • Expertise in configuring advanced reports using SQL or SWQL queries.
  • Create Orion Maps to visualize network topology.
  • Should have experience in creating advanced modern dashboards using SWQL Queries.
  • Should have experience scheduling and executing configuration backups for network devices
  • Experience in Setting up compliance polices to enforce configuration standards as per requirement.
