Job Description
Job Summary:
Develops, implements, and maintains an organization's security posture by managing security tech (firewalls, WAF, SIEMDNS/EMAIL Security WAF Microsegmentation SIEM(Splunk) Nbad etc.), leading incident response, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance (RBI, data privacy), managing a security team, and creating policies to protect IT infrastructure and data, blending technical expertise with strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Policy: Develop and implement security strategies, standards, and procedures.
- Technology Management: Oversee security tools (Firewalls, VPN, SIEM(Splunk), IDS/IPS,DNS/EMAIL Security WAF Microsegmentation Nbad), manage network security, and ensure infrastructure hardening.
- Risk & Compliance: Perform vulnerability assessments, manage patching, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to regulations (like RBI mandates).
- Incident Response: Lead incident response, analyze alerts, and coordinate with internal/external teams during breaches.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to integrate security into business processes.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on security status, risks, and initiatives for senior management.
Core Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of network security, operating systems, security tools, and cloud security.
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a technical team.
- Risk Management: Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of relevant security frameworks and regulations.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and training.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify complex security issues and implement solutions.
