Job Description

We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive on-site AV & IT Technician to manage and support audiovisual systems in conference rooms and demo environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Unified Communications, control systems, and AVoIP technologies, along with a solid foundation in IT infrastructure, Windows device management, and Entra ID (Azure AD).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, configure, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and associated peripherals.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Extron control systems, AVoIP setups, and other AV infrastructure.
  • Maintain and support delivery of live demos, integrating AV, windows endpoints, IoT devices and cloud services.
  • Re-image and deploy Windows PCs using standard imaging tools and processes.
  • Administer accounts in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Perform Windows Server administration, including patching, and basic services configuration.
  • Collaborate with network teams to troubleshoot and support infrastructure.
  • Maintain documentation for setups, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Support customers in presenting in the conference rooms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Teams-certified hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of Extron, Crestron, Q-Sys or similar AV control systems.
  • Familiarity with AVoIP technologies and protocols (e.g., Dante, Biamp AVB, NDI, NVX).
  • Ability to read AV system schematics and wiring diagrams and understand signal flow.
  • Experience with Windows OS deployment, imaging, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with Windows Server (DNS, DHCP, VMs).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, IP addressing, QoS, etc.).
  • Bonus: Experience with Azure services, Power Platform, Intune, PowerShell, any programming language

 

Language Requirements:

  • English: Required (professional working proficiency)
  • German: Preferred (not mandatory, but beneficial)
Mandatory Skills: Datacenter - Wintel Stack .
