The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Industrial Designer to join our Munich studio and help shape the next generation of intelligent physical experiences. Combining exceptional craft, strategic thinking, and human-centered design, you will create products, interactions, and connected experiences that bridge the physical, digital, and intelligent worlds.

You will work across a diverse portfolio of global clients and categories, helping organizations transform products into meaningful experience platforms through physical design, interaction principles, ecosystem thinking, and emerging technologies.

This is not just an execution role. You will be expected to lead design quality from vision to realization, shape product experiences beyond the object itself, contribute to client relationships, mentor junior talent, and help define what great industrial design looks like in the age of intelligent, connected products

• Lead the design of intelligent physical products from opportunity framing to implementation-ready solutions - combining strategic thinking with exceptional craft.
• Translate insights into meaningful product experiences across physical, digital, and connected touchpoints.
• Design products beyond the object itself considering the broader customer journey, product ecosystems and companion experiences.
• Define intuitive product interactions and embedded experiences through physical controls, displays, sensors, and intelligent behaviors.
• Develop high-quality CAD concepts and product designs with a strong understanding of form, ergonomics, and usability.
• Create compelling CMF directions, visualizations, and prototypes that bring future experiences to life.
• Collaborate across design, strategy, UX, and engineering to create seamless physical-digital experiences.
• Conduct research, usability studies, and ergonomic evaluations to inform design decisions.
• Facilitate workshops, guide clients, and mentor junior designers.
• Support pitches and business development, helping position us as a leader in intelligent physical experiences.

We Would Like You to Have…

• 5+ years of experience in industrial or product design within a consultancy, agency, or innovation environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating product innovation from concept to implementation.
• Advanced CAD and visualization skills (Rhino, KeyShot, Blender or similar).
• Excellent sketching, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
• A deep understanding of product architecture, manufacturing processes, materials, and production constraints, balancing creative ambition with real-world feasibility.
• Strong experience in CMF design, with the ability to create coherent product families and brand experiences.
• A human-centered mindset, integrating ergonomics, usability, and interaction design into physical products.
• Experience designing connected products, product experiences, or customer journeys beyond the object itself.
• Curiosity for user experience, intelligent products, HMI, product behaviors, and physical-digital experiences.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and client communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and collaborate across disciplines.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.

• Experience designing consumer products, connected devices, home appliances, mobility, robotics, or medtech solutions.
• Experience with intelligent products, connected ecosystems, or product-service experiences.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools, generative workflows and emerging technologies.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, connected prototypes, and experience validation.
• Experience defining product behaviors, HMI concepts, or embedded UX.
• Working knowledge of Figma or interaction design tools.
