Job Description

As an Murex Consultant with Wipro you will have expertise in Murex, particularly Credit & Market Risk configurations (PFE, CVA, VaR), Trade interface development (TDS, LTS), Market Data interface development (mdit), static data interfaces, workflow configuration, datamart reporting

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with project feasibility, requirements gathering, design and/or project leadership.
  • Analyze and resolve system incidents across multiple business areas (FO, MO, Risk).
  • Support  projects involving clients system users across the full value chain.
  • Assist in product configuration, market/static data setup, PL validation, and other key Murex functions.
  • Provide Murex Technical Knowledge in the following areas:
    • Credit risk configuration.
    • Market risk configuration.
    • Workflow configuration and development.
    • Datamart configurations – nice to have
    • Interface development (TDS, LTS, MDI

 

Qualifications / Experience  required:

  • Strong functional expertise in Murex,
  • Proficient in configuring and validating Murex modules – product setup, static & market data, PL calculations.
  • Solid background in financial services industry providing knowledge of the following: 
    • Credit Risk – PFE, CVA, SIMM
    • Trade pricing.
    • IRD, Equities
    • Market Risk – VaR, DV01, NOP
  • Proven experience interacting with Front Office teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Exposure to multi-disciplinary teams including IT, Risk, BO/MO, Admin, and cross-country stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Additional Technical Knowledge
    • Linux bash scripting
    • SQL -
