Job Description: 

Playwright Test Lead

Location - Mysore Only
Exp - 5 to 10 yrs

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing, particularly using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing principles, CI/CD pipelines, and database validation, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Design and execute test cases, test plans, and scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Log and track defects while collaborating with developers and product owners.
  • Perform RCA on issues reported on Production

Automation Testing

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Automate UI and API tests.
  • Maintain reusable automation frameworks.
  • Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines and analyze automation failures.

CI/CD & DevOps

  • Work with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Configure automated test execution.
  • Generate and analyze detailed test reports.

Database Testing

  • Validate data using SQL and NoSQL queries.
  • Perform data integrity and consistency checks.

Performance Testing

  • Validate the scalability of the applications.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Testing Expertise: Deep knowledge of Manual, API, and Web testing.
  • Automation: Hands-on Playwright experience and TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency.
  • Performance Testing: Proficiency in performance testing using JMeter.
  • Technical Tools: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, database testing, and Git.
  • Process: Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within team environments

Mandatory Skills: Playwright .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .
