Network Lead Administrator – L3

Role Purpose

The Network Lead Administrator – L3 is a pivotal position responsible for providing advanced technical leadership in the architecture, planning, and design of network infrastructure within the assigned technology domains, including platform services, databases, middleware, and backup solutions. This role ensures robust network performance and resilience by overseeing day-to-day operations, maintenance, and incident management to support enterprise-scale environments.

The individual in this role will be instrumental in driving enhancements, implementing industry best practices, and integrating emerging technologies to optimize network capabilities aligned with business objectives.

Key functions include strategizing network design, leading troubleshooting efforts on complex issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless network services, and mentoring junior team members to foster technical excellence within the organization.

This role demands a combination of hands-on technical expertise and leadership skills to maintain high service availability, network security, and scalability while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.

Technology Focus Areas: Comprehensive expertise in Network Routing & Switching (R&S), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Network Security Platforms, and Data Centre Networking environments. Hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba network infrastructure, including wireless controllers and access points.

Locations: Multiple locations including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, and Coimbatore, with flexibility to engage across offices as required.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Deep proficiency in Network Operations management encompassing configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Data Centre, LAN, and WAN infrastructures across Cisco and Aruba OEM platforms.
  • Hands-on capability in Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) and Access Point (AP) infrastructure implementation, configuration, and diagnostic troubleshooting for Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba solutions.
  • Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting SD-WAN solutions from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Versa, Velocloud, and Fortinet.
  • Expertise in Network Security technologies including F5 Load Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager (GTM), and Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure robust and secure network operations.
  • Specialized knowledge in niche technologies including Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), VMware NSX, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Software Defined Access (SDA), and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) focusing on configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Certification Requirements: Valid industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise and HPE Aruba Network Professional certifications are essential to validate technical expertise.

Additional Skills: Administration experience with CISCO Nexus platforms is desirable and will add value to managing multi-dimensional network environments effectively.
