Role - AI Strategist

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and client-facing AI Strategist to join our team of expert advisors. In this role, you will work directly with our global Fortune 500 clients to help them define and execute their enterprise AI strategies. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding clients in the architecture, design, and governance of cutting-edge generative and agentic AI solutions.

This is a hands-on, client-facing architecture and strategy role. You will collaborate with client stakeholders—from technical teams to business leaders—to translate their strategic objectives into tangible AI-driven outcomes. The ideal candidate is a skilled technologist with a passion for AI, strong architectural skills, and a proven ability to advise and guide customers on their technology journey.


Key Responsibilities

Client AI Strategy & Architecture
You will work directly with clients to help shape their enterprise AI strategy, focusing on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning. Your duties will involve guiding client teams in designing robust AI operating models, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps. A key function will be to lead workshops and prototyping sessions to help clients evaluate and select the right AI technologies and architectural patterns for their needs.

Client Governance & Risk Advisory
You will be responsible for advising clients on how to implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks that align with regulations like the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF. This includes helping them establish responsible AI standards for model risk management, bias mitigation, and data privacy. You will guide clients in assessing AI risk and building the capabilities to report on compliance and model performance.

Client Enablement & Solution Advisory
In this capacity, you will serve as a key technical advisor to client project teams and business leaders, helping them apply AI effectively and confidently. You will lead client-facing engagements, including architectural design sessions and technology assessments. A critical part of your role will be to create and deliver technical documentation, architectural blueprints, and training materials to enable client success.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology, with at least 3+ years in a client-facing role such as a senior solutions architect, technology consultant, or senior AI/ML engineer. You must have hands-on experience building or implementing solutions using Generative AI, including RAG architectures and LLM orchestration. Strong architectural skills across the technology stack (backend, databases, cloud, and integration) are essential, along with at least one professional cloud architecture certification (AWS or Azure). You must also have experience guiding customers or internal teams on AI best practices, governance, or technology standards.

Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred. We value active participation in the tech community, such as contributions to open-source projects or speaking at meetups. Experience with enterprise AI platforms like Databricks, Palantir Foundry, or Snowflake Cortex is also a plus, as is domain expertise in key verticals such as Retail, Banking, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $190,000.00  to $265,000.00.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
